Welcome back Saints Sports Teams!Top of Page
With the decline in COVID-19 numbers, the Los Angeles County Public Health Department has
loosened some restrictions on sports. We have developed a plan that meets all the health guidelines, which will allow Fall sports to condition outside with no more than a group of ten players with a coach.
As with all areas of educating our students, health and safety remain our number one priority. We understand that our students, coaches, and community members want high school sports to come back as soon as possible, and we join you in that sentiment. Fall sports coaches may start to condition starting October 5.
The following safety measures will be put into place to ensure the health and safety of our athletes and staff:
Physicals will be required with a date of May 1, 2020.
Any equipment used will be cleaned between participant uses.
Temperatures will be taken before entering the athletic facilities.
Students will have to answer daily questions regarding cough, sore throat, shortness of breath,
contact, or cared for someone with COVID-19.
Multiple hand sanitizers will be available at each athletic facility.
All coaches will wear masks at all times and athletes who are not participating in strenuous
physical activity.
Athletes will not be sharing any towels or clothes. PE locker rooms will be closed.
Athletes will need to bring their own water bottles.
All activities will be outside.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our athletes and coaches back participating in their sports.
Thank you for your support as we navigate through this process with our ultimate goal of keeping
our athletes and coaches healthy and safe.
Thank you and stay safe,
Scott Sparks
